Students possess theoretical and practical knowledge on data modeling and database technologies, required for being able to design and implement a software application working with databases and to administer database systems. Students also are able to analyse, design, and implement a simple database application and can write queries in SQL.

Contact teaching: lectures 13h, exercises 39h
Contactless teaching: preparation for exercises and interim quizzes (30h), preparation of final project (43h)
Assesment methods and criteria:
The evaluation is based on a point system. By fulfilling the study activities, students can acquire 100 points at maximum.
The final grade is given by the Study rules of the STU. To obtain credits for the subject, the student has to reach at least 56% of the maximum number of points.
