Exm (7 credits)
Course supervisor:
prof. Ing. Marian Koman, DrSc.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The subject of inorganic chemistry is a resource that students will use to gain the knowledge needed to understand the current level in the field of inorganic chemistry and aspects of coordination and organometallic chemistry. The course is based on the periodic table of elements and provides a systematic study of the chemistry of all chemical elements and their compounds. It includes important recent developments with an emphasis on progress in the interpretation of structure, binding and reactivity.Mastering of the basic principles of general and inorganic chemistry, structure, properties, industrial, biological and environmental applications of nonmetallic and metallic elements and their simple inorganic and coordination compounds.
