Students will acquire knowledge of numerical methods for solving engineering problems and application of Matlab software (or Mathematica software) in numerical methods
Course contents:
1. Software Matlab (or Mathematica), history, possibilities, application (allowance 1/1)
2. Meaning of matrix calculus in programming (allowance 1/1)
3. Numerical solution of systems of linear equations (allowance 1/1)
4. Numerical solution of nonlinear equations (allowance 1/1)
5. Numerical solution of systems of nonlinear equations (allowance 1/1)
6. Numerical integration (allowance 1/1)
7. Interpolation, regression (allowance 2/2)
8. Numerical solution of differential equations (allowance 2/2)
9. Numerical solution of systems of differential equations, phase portraits (allowance 2/2)
10. Numerical solution of partial differential equations, net method for diffusion equation (allowance 2/2)
