- Learning outcomes of the course unit:
- Students are familiar with XML technology, which is used to describe structured data in text form. They learn to verify the correct structure of XML documents using DTD Validation Language, search for XML documents using XPATH, and transform XML documents using XSLT.
- Course contents:
- Introduction to XML, examples of practical use, XML document structure and writing, industry-derived XML standards, XML document validation using DTD, XPATH search, XSLT transformation.
