Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students acquire a higher level of knowledge in the theory fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic and aggregation techniques applied in fuzzy systems. They also acquaint with their applications in various areas. After finishing the course, the students are able to apply actively the presented notions and methods of the theory of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic in solving problems in fuzzy control.
Course contents:
1. Modeling vague notions by fuzzy sets

2. Logical connectives in fuzzy logics

3. Aggregation functions

4. Fuzzy arithmetic

5. Fuzzy relations

6. Approximate reasoning

7. Applications of fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic in fuzzy szstems
